The Love of Wicked Men (Serial, Parts 5 & 6) by Brandon Shire

My rating: 4 Stars

The Love of Wicked Men

The Love of Wicked Men

Note: This book was published in serial form. This review is of the fifth and sixth episodes, which completes the series.

The twists and turns come fast and furious as this six-part series races to its conclusion. Sid and Jack are no longer playing cat and mouse with each other, although both men now realize they’re being played. The question is: by whom?

These last two novelettes in the series really are page-turners. Don’t be surprised if you finish one or both of them in a single sitting. While the main plot continues to be who the mystery players are behind Sid and Jack, many of the other sub-plots, twists and turns involve the teams that surround the two main characters.

The extra character development, and a few loose ends, probably means we will be treated to a second “season” of this series. If there is a second series, it would almost certainly be worth a read. However, I don’t think I would read and review it in installments, as I did this first series. I find I prefer the continuity of reading a book all at once, particularly one set at such a fast pace.

“The Love of Wicked Men” may be purchased from Amazon.
